Let’s be honest Amman is not the prettiest city in the world, nor the oldest and it’s hard to compare Amman to Istanbul, Damascus ( let’s hope it retains its atmosphere and glory once Syria is back on track) Jerusalem or Beirut, but it is a vibrant living capital city and one of the friendliest in the world.
